Midnight Morani Dancers
The traditional Maasai adamu dance is performed in unison, with the 12 warriors moving as one. It’s an impressive dance, not only for its energy but also for its deceptively simple appearance. There are no drums, only voices as instruments and rhythm. It is a celebration to mark the rite of passage, to welcome young men into adulthood. The symbolic red costume is believed to scare away lions.
