Baschet Butterfly I

“A half-closed butterfly made of sheet metal, this bass instrument was designed by Francois Baschet in 1957. It is played by rubbing moistened fingers over the vertical glass rods. The resulting sound on the horizontal wires is then amplified over the sheet metal.”
